PARTY BAG

Brighton drag is its own little world, with so many creatives constantly collaborating and inspiring others. I have personally watched drag bring people together socially, it gives people a reason to go out and meet other like minded people. This documentary focuses on Dick Day and Ophelia Payne’s bi-monthly drag show, ‘Party Bag’.

‘Party Bag’ premiered at The Socially Engaged Art Studio’s exhibition ‘Our spaces: Queerness and Nightlife in Brighton and Hove’ and was featured in Brighton Rocks’ ‘DOCS ROCKS: One Night Stand’.

QUEER SKATE
BRIGHTON

Skateboarding is not easily claimed by girls, women or gender non-conforming individuals which is why ‘Queer Skate Brighton’ has a mission to help eradicate the gender disparities within the skateboarding scene. It is about time that male-dominated spaces are re-shuffled and made safe for all groups of people.‘Queer Skate Brighton’ is a collective of like-minded people trying to find their space within the skateboarding scene.

‘Queer Skate Brighton’ premiered at Duke of York's Picturehouse and won runner up at Brighton Rocks 2024.
